Missing Daddy, having some fun with cousins and grandparents
Selah in the morning(eyes glowing and excited)”Mommy, I had a dream about Daddy!”
Happy that she finally was having a nice dream I said, “What was he doing in your dream?”
Selah responds with a very happy smile “He kissed me on the cheek!”
The night before that she said at the dinner table randomly, “Mommy, I want to meet with Daddy, when can I meet him?”
I guess the 2 that are having a harder time with not being with Daddy are Essie and Selah as they don’t understand it as much. Although I understand it and still have a hard time sometimes:-). Essie keeps saying “Daddy” to Uncle Chad (kinda odd as they look nothing alike). Maybe she just knows a Daddy when she sees one:). Essie likes to stand by the computer and listen to the CD that Gabe made the kids of him singing and talking to them. Whenever she sees the computer (or the phone) now she says, “Daddy!”
The kids after 17 hours of flight…with one more flight to go and only having 4-5 hours of sleep…they look pretty awake don’t they:) There is a reason I don’t have a picture of ME on here:)
First time with great Grandpa!
Reading with G. Grandpa
Selah’s first time to see G. Grandpa too!
Having fun burning trash with him:)
Fun with cousins in the river next to Papa and Mima’s house where we are staying.
So far Selah has not had anymore infections! Thanks for praying about that! Kaleb and Essie have had stomach problems since leaving Bolivia, we are hoping they go away by themselves…hopefully we will not have to do labwork here to figure out what meds they need, but it might be necessary. :-/
This week the kids and I have been doing VBS at Spring Mountain Bible Church with their cousins. The kids and I have been having a lot of fun with it!
